Moses, Job, Jonah, David, Jeremiah, Elijah and Peter all experienced deep times of depression
but the good news is all of them eventually came though and experienced a new and lasting Joy!
We all are susceptible to depression!
Sometimes it is “acute” which is short term and stems from some external situation or circumstance and we bounce back.
Sometimes depression is “chronic” which is more long term and can become ingrained in us as an outlook upon life.
Either way, God knows that we have a fertile field for cultivating depression in our minds.
Our enemy knows that he can attack us in the way we think. We must take every thought captive!!
